With summer fast approaching, a lot of people are heading into sunless tanning showers that spray a bronzing mist from head to toe.
Supporters say it's a perfect tan in 45 seconds, without all those harmful ultra violet rays. But there is a government warning most people haven't heard.
The ingredient that makes you tan is called D.H.A., or Dihydroxyacetone. The government says D.H.A. can contain a small percentage of lead and arsenic.
While the Food and Drug Administration has approved D.H.A. for use in lotions, creams, and other cosmetics, the agency has not yet tested its safety when used in a mist.
